agjit Singh is a favourite of mine … it is also easier to sing his ghazals compared to any of the others like Ghulam Ali or Hariharan… In spite of that, I ended up with a lot of offs and other mistakes… I recorded this when I was briefly in the right frame of mind, in the wee hours of the morning ( in fact it was around 2.30 am )… a rather hurried exercise in recording & mixing – could’nt find the energy to re do them… so have left them as they are, banking on the tolerance & magnanimous indulgence of my friends here at muziboo … he he he… I may not have been very accurate in terms of adhering to the original harqats as I have rendered this purely out of my memory of hearing this ghazal a long time back…
