Presenting an awesome oldie from Aar Paar (1954)… a movie which is so contemporary in style and content, so fresh to watch even today 57 years after its original release! This song is one of my favourite ones and has been in my wish list for a long time now… a Rafi – Geeta Dutt – O.P.Nayyar combo song….
I have great pleasure in doing this duet with Latha who is one of my favourite singers in Muziboo… she has done a fantastic job bringing out the spirit of this song with her superb voice , rendition and mischievous/naughty expressions that this song demands… in the original song, Rafi Saab takes a back seat and it is Geeta Dutt who really sizzles… so it is here in this cover too… it is truly Latha who has sizzled and made this cover come alive … (superb singing @Latha… and thanks for being such a wonderful collaborator)… it is truly a privilege working with her….
